New members always welcome!
We meet at the Palairet Hall on the first Tuesday of each month - coffees/teas/chat from 7pm, meeting from 7.30pm until around 9pm.
The meetings usually follow the format set up by Tony Day - sharing of our photos on USB sticks using the projector, then a short talk on a photographic subject. Many of our shared photos are taken on phones so no special equipment is needed.
We charge £5 each on the door to cover the cost of the Palairet Hall booking and to fund any future speakers or excursions.
We are encouraging rather than competitive and we participate in some exhibitions but don't hold any competitions.
Members receive a monthly email with a non-compulsory photo theme and talk topic for the next few meetings.
Keep an eye on this page and Norton St Philip Noticeboard on Facebook for details of forthcoming meetings. The present plan is:
• Tues 5 Nov 24: Non-compulsory theme for photo sharing Night; Phil Miller has kindly agreed to present on the history of colour photography;
• Tues 3 Dec 24: Non-compulsory theme for photo sharing Red; demonstration by Tony Sanson on Photoshop layers following up Nick's question on layer blend modes;
